The Verona Chiropractic Team

Villani Chiropractic Center Chiropractic Team

Colleen

I started out at Villani Chiropractic as a patient in April of 2010. I was recently added to the team in January of 2011. I am enrolled in the education program at Ramapo College to become an elementary school teacher. I am working towards graduating from Ramapo with my Bachelors degree in psychology along with certifications in elementary education and business.

I first came to Dr. Jay to help with years of back and neck/upper-back pain. After just a few visits I was astonished that not only my back pain had subsided but I started sleeping better, my stress was under more control and my overall joint pain seemed to disappear. The best part of working here at the center is to help Dr. Jay and Dr. Chris be a part of something very special which is to get people better through chiropractic.

Daga

My name is Dagmara Lipka- Barkley, but all our patients simply call me - Daga. I have been in the chiropractic field for over 6 years now. I started working with Dr. Villani 3 years ago and have been under regular chiropractic care since. Chiropractic over the years has helped me with my lower back pain, frequent headaches, as well as to improve and maintain better health and well being.

I currently am finishing my degree at William Paterson University, majoring in psychology. One of the most gratifying experiences I have working with this center is to see the transformation of hundreds of patients getting better without the intervention of medicine.

Dr. Jay Asks some important questions of interest to Verona residents - Chiropractor Verona Dr. Jay Asks...

Where do most Verona residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Verona newborn.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Verona chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
