Made for Chiropractic

Dr. Villani went to Verona High School and graduated in 1988. From there he went to West Chester University in Pennsylvania and graduated in 1992 with a B.S in Exercise Science. Next, he went to New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls in the fall of 1994, graduating with a doctorate of chiropractic (D.C) in December 1997.

People ask Dr. Villani, "Doc, how did you get involved with chiropractic?" "Chiropractic has had a major impact on my overall health", says Dr. Jay. He explains, "for as long as I can remember I had severe allergies and digestive issues and would get sick several times a year. I started getting weekly adjustments in 1989 and since then my immune function has dramatically increased, I no longer have any allergies to speak of, digestive issues, and I rarely get sick."

A Vision Worth Fighting For

Dr. Villani's vision as a family wellness chiropractor is to help raise the next generation drug free. "For me the best part of being a chiropractor is having a chance to drastically change a persons life for the better", says Dr. Villani.

Dr. Jay specializes in working with athletes, children, pregnancy, and families. He is an active member in the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), He is a certified (MUA manipulation under anesthesia) practitioner. Dr. Jay not only takes care of patients but also is an active chiropractic patient as well. "I get adjusted twice a week so I can be at my best or taking care of all my patients" Being on a regular chiropractic wellness protocol is optimum for overall general health. It helps with sleep, stress and overall immune function. Dr. Villani also stresses that chiropractic is only part of the pie. Dr. Jay works out 5-6 days a week and can be seen at the local gyms performing his favorite new workout: The P90X. This workout according to Dr. Jay has virtually changed his life.

Along with working out steadily, Dr. Jay stresses the importance of a healthy balanced diet. Dr. Jay Asks some important questions of interest to Verona residents - Chiropractor Verona Dr. Jay Asks...

Where do most Verona residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Verona newborn.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Verona chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
